One of my best friends, she's a year older than me, we hang out all the time and we've been friends for over 15 years now. She's got two sweet girls for which I was at both of their births for and adore. There is a great deal of trust in our relationship and we've never crossed the more than friends line. Though I've been interrogated by a few of her boyfriends and needed to calm their jealousy.
There's just been this odd behavior I've noticed in our relationship over the years, she always pays and makes it a point to pay for anything we share. I've never made a real issue out of it, I've commented on it before and she dismisses it, 'because I'm just that way'. I'm far more amused and curious about it though, it seems a bit odd.
So, does anyone have any theories?
